The course is set up for 4 workouts per week. However, in the first week of the course we'll discuss how to modify this plan to fit your schedule - this may look like scaling it back to 2 or 3 days or extending it to 5 or 6 days.
Of course I have a difficulty answer to a seemingly easy question. During the first week you'll complete a movement screen that will place you into one of three training programs based on your current fitness level. You'll likely need a couple different sizes of dumbbells and I'd definitely recommend erring on the light side. For some, 3lb and 5lb dumbbells will be sufficient. For others, 5lb, 10lb, and 15lb dumbbells would be more suitable. If you don't have the exact right sizes at the start of the program, that's perfectly fine. Otherwise, you'll just need some open space and a soft surface or mat.
